- 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- Pinch of salt
- Strawberries & walnuts & coconut for garnish
In a medium saucepan pot, over medium heat, combine milk, heavy cream and vanilla extract. Stir well.
In a bowl, add the egg yolks, sugar, salt and lightly beat.
In another bowl combine the flour and cornstarch, stir well and set aside.
Very slowly, pour the eggs mixture into the milk and keep whisking constantly.
Slowly, while constantly stirring add the dry ingredients into the milk mixture.
Cook over medium heat, slow-stirring constantly, until mixture is thick.
Remove from heat and pour this mixture into dessert dishes and let it set.
Let pudding cool to room temperature and serve topped with strawberries , walnuts and dry coconut.
