Fruit & Chocolate Slices
Serves 4. Prep time: Aproximately 40 minutes.
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- Chocolate (White and Dark)
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil added (to 1/2 cup chocolate)
- Dry coconut
- Sugar decorations
Start by peeling kiwi and clementines. Slice the oranges and kiwi as shown on the pictures. Melt each kind of chocolate in separate bowls over double boilers with a 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil. Get kiwi and clementines and dip them into chocolate mixture and allow them to set on the baking sheet. Decorate with dry coconut.
Dip one spoon at a time in the melted chocolate, set on a baking sheet & add your favorite toppings.
Put fruits and spoons in the fridge for about 10 minutes and you are all set.
On a saucepan add 1 cup water and 2 cups granulated sugar. Heat mixture until sugar dissolves completly and mixture starts to boil. Slice 2 oranges and put inside on the syrup, pushing them down until all are mostly covered.
Place oranges slices on the wire rack and let them cool completely.
We recommend you to place the fruits into an elegant plate and serve them with a cup of tea or warm milk.
